This furthers my impression that something weird is going on with cars in Arkansas. When I passed through there I saw all these chains of totaled vehicles being towed behind a single barely functional beater car. They were all traveling to/within Arkansas. Never seen anything quite like it elsewhere. I assume they have some law that incentivizes scrapping your car there.

gondolas are stupid. I guess monorails are allegedly not actually worse than normal rail as long as 100% of the track would need to be elevated anyway, but otherwise they're pointlessly more expensive than normal trains
