They probably guess that putting it out into The Discourse can skew the refs further toward them than just submitting their videos privately would.

Oh yeah to be clear the Lakers are 100% complicit in it being a story, Dave McMenamin isn't 100% a mouthpiece but he's not going to do a story that's going to make the Lakers mad very readily.

When are the Spurs going to leak that they are sending clips? Wemby is getting whacked on the forearm pretty much every shot around the basket (because nobody can reach high enough to block the ball). In two or three years time when he starts getting the star respect from the refs he's going to average 12 free throws a game.

It was really tough figuring out how the Thompson twins would adapt to the NBA, Overtime Elite is weird and they can’t shoot. Ausar looks like a game changer defensively, hadn’t had the ability to watch Amen but in Summer League he was impressive against the Blazers. I hope they get to play on the same team at some point. On the second point, the Blazers also got two unprotected picks. Brogdon also has injury history, but was also 6-man of the year. It was a steep price.
