Despite having watched most of MJF’s indie run, his world title matches have been surprising and delightful. Dude is absolutely on the same levels as Danielson, Okada, Kota Ibushi, Stan Hansen, et al.

I don't know if they can be rebuilt after losing 2-on-1 in a comedy match to MJF, but one thing they do need is for someone to sit down with them and say okay, what is your characters' motivation, what the gently caress are you talking about, and how does it relate to wrestling matches. Jake's as good a person to do that as any.

Wasn't their motivation going into the handicap match 'you, Adam and everybody who cheers for you are fake good guys who would tear each apart a moments' notice the second it conveniences you and we will expose you' more or less?
As far as 'rebuilding' them goes. It was one match. Don't get too hung up on the optics of a midcard tag team.
