It is not wide open, and chatGPT is still gate keeping, Microsoft hosed something up. Enjoy it while you can. My guess is they just have AI looking at everything and AI forgets things as you use it so older instructions are once again unknown. e: GPT not complaining about "A horse in the style of BoJack Horseman" which gets you BoJack, much like yellow character in the style of simpsons character But now it's bitching about Super Saiyan! It didn't complain about that 2 hours ago. Gathering Ki though is still strongly dragonball. They are totally updating the chains in all 3 programs Bing GPT and Dalle like right now. pixaal fucked around with this message at 01:32 on Nov 7, 2023 |

I've been messing around with WarpFusion and its pretty fun. You can run it on google colab or if you have an 8gb GPU you can run it locally. I got a free 3d model and animation and rendered it out in blender, asked wf to return a business guy walking in 3/4 view. I'm terrible at prompts and getting a good image out of anything that isnt midjourney, so I think the results will only get better. I have this idea to do a 2.5d animation in blender using something like this workflow, currently seeing if its a huge pain in the rear end or even produces useable stuff. Promising so far https://i.imgur.com/boBFgpG.mp4 Sorry this is massive I dunno how to to timg for mp4s

For one this technical talk is to hopefully provide an alternate way of composing AI art for when there isn't an online service left that charges less than $21.99 per cyber pony you can freely post to a comedy forum.

ETA: No but for reals though, ever since discovering the Bing Image Creator I've been having so much fun with it, and I really *would* love to have a way of creating stuff with more control over content and style, but I've tried reading through the more techy stuff in this thread and it just flummoxes me immediately. Here's hoping that the near future provides a nice simple pre-packaged solution, something we can install and just play with to our hearts content that is easy enough for a clueless user like me. All goons should be aware of house hippos and the dangers they pose to your health and safety. Timid and shy creatures they usually come out at night to nibble on potato chip crumbs and other easily available food. They are opportunistic foragers who will stop at nothing to eat your food. Left unchecked a house hippo Infestation can get quite bad leading to various health complications. Don't wait! Act now if you see any signs of house hippo presence in your home or domicile.

playing with the bing assistant and create: "Create a concept art piece of a spaceship shaped like an opossum, floating in space" since bing assistant suggests that you request fine tuning to your images, "Can you make the opossum the ship? Like it is a mechanical opposum" yeah, I don't think it is getting that that statement is connected to the previous pictures, regardless of the suggestions it offers after creating the first set. Although I do like the second set better. Also, there is nothing in there anywhere about making the nose of the spacecraft out of a walnut in either of my descriptions. Does that make it an AI "hallucination".

WhiteHowler posted:This is incredible. I would legit buy into this game. So recently Creative Commons, a US non-profit that deals with licensing of arts and crafts similar to how open-source works for code, has clarified how their lawyers interpret AI art generation with regards to who owns the rights to the final works. It's interesting because they address a variety of grey area legal topics that are relevant regardless whether you're generating AI art with something like a full SDXL model with its OpenRail++ license or using one of the online black box services with their own agreements. Creative Commons in short saying that training AI models/Loras on someone else's works/style is fair use, and the owner of those paintings/photos can't enforce copyright to remove the download links to the derivative .safetensors models under the DMCA. The AI art produced using those models however, can be taken down by the original artist if it's seen being too similar to the originals, so it needs as Commons puts it "enough degree of human creative input to justify protection". Who knows how much creativity is empirically required to have a piece of AI art fall under the derivative works category, but it's probably somewhere between adding a sepia filter and photoshopping 90% of the image. There are already Lora weights in the wild that allow for full 360 rotation of AI generated characters/environments, and with accompanying depth maps extracted from the latents, it's only a matter of time before some savvy group of entrepreneurs leverages AI art to generate, license, and sell their own 3D printed country-themed tabletop franchise. With all these court cases coming to conclusion, whats the biggest difference between AI-generated and trad art in terms of copyright, in your opinion? Are you satisfied with these outcomes? So far these results seem pretty reasonable to me. Agree that a lot of the common issues surrounding AI art ownership can be solved by enforcing the rules already established around traditional art, such as plagiarism where the party that copied/traced is at fault. But what complicates things around AI art licensing is that the whole process is loosely coupled allowing the intermediate model to store only inferences to some original set of images, while using those inferences to blend together an entirely new collage guided by a text encoder. Because these intermediate models are so integral to the process, its creators/owners/trainers/licensors/middlemen, want to argue that all work generated with the help of their models actually belong to them. It's basically like forfeiting the rights to your photoshops to Adobe because you used their smart fill tool. So it's the dynamic between the training set image authors, the AI model makers, and the artists using the resulting AI tools as part of their workflow that's the biggest copyright issue that can't be solved by looking at trad art lessons imo.
