Obama has had a harder line against Netanyahu, saying that Israel's actions helped trigger the October 7 attack while at the same time denouncing said attack. Pretty milquetoast, but it's built off years of right wingers cheering for Netanyahu while he was trolling Democrats and boosting Republicans.
Even generally Pro-Israel Democrats were getting kind of sick of the Likud Party's poo poo over the last several years, though the Hamas attack has muted those criticisms obviously.

To be a real American, and understanding that impeachment is political move, I believe that you have to have overwhelming evidence to impeach a President. It should be obvious to everyone.
What the democrats did to Trump (impeachment on innuendo)was insurrection and un-American, and should be seen as a stain on the Republic. Trump was right, Biden should have been investigated, and Obama ran cover for him. Obama and Biden were corrupt, and they hurt this Republic to a point we have entered fascism. I blame Charlie Kirk and the whole "We're hip with the kids, honest!" genre of pundit, who make a big deal of repeating all the memes to have an appearance of finally being the people to convince The Youths that conservatism is the new punk rock. In reality, they mostly just teach Grandpa to repeat the phrase "clown world" whenever someone mentions being trans, and teach them that an NPC is, like, a really dumb guy or something??
Like not to downplay the people who are actually successful in radicalizing a portion of young people, but they tend to sell it more as a lifestyle brand thing. Nobody in their 60's is listening to Andrew Tate.

Freep is pretty useful for examining the central divides in American politics with absurdly simple and short examples.

The libertarians and evangelicals have been terrified of it forever.
There was a push during the Bush administration to implement a national ID to consolidate driver's license standards among states, allow you to use an ID that wasn't your social security number for financial/identity/business verification, make it harder to hire illegal immigrants, and streamline flight verification/fight terrorism by giving you a federally recognized ID that wasn't your passport or social security number for flights.
Democrats were starting to get iffy about Bush's security policies, the libertarians and evangelicals thought it was the mark of the beast/one world government, and the big business Republicans didn't like the idea of forcing a new compliance system for hiring on employers.
So, they compromised and we got a requirement for all states to unify their driver's license and state ID standards under the Real ID law. This was originally supposed to happen by 2009 and they just extended the deadline again to 2025 last year. To be fair, I think 47 states are compliant now and the last 3 are supposed to actually be done this time.
We really need a national ID. It is still bonkers that in the United States you still technically don't have unified standards for proving your identity with a state ID AND you have to give every landlord, cell phone company, potential employer, bank, and website what is basically the password to your pension account and only piece of information needed to commit large-scale identity fraud because there is literally no other way to definitely have someone prove their ID.

Of course they have your email, phone # street address/Zip.
More DMV: If you are female and your husband is dead, they now want a copy of his death certificate if you still use his last name.
With all of your data, above at the DMV, they can do the Euro ID card in a flash.

- He fought in Vietnam.
- He was in the Navy and used a Gatling gun.

- He likes Paul Simon.
- He got cancer, but beat it.
- His second wife complained about never having money or having the finer things in life and left him.
- He moved to Louisiana after she left.
- He found a third wife and she is his true love.
- Shortly after he moved to Louisiana, hurricane Katrina hit.
- "I have been an item" = ??? (Usually said about two people being in a relationship together, but makes no sense in the context of his story or when talking about himself alone).
- He wrote weird philosophical letters to the editor in the local newspaper, had them published, and they gave him a job writing columns for 6 years.
- He is retired now and happy.

I know everything is the last step towards Nazi Germany, but why is the idea that almost all financial transactions are going digital/leaving a record, businesses need to assume that their transactions will be public and scrutinized, and therefore need to act responsibly the last step towards Nazi Germany?
Is it because the WEP guy said it? Or are they assuming he means something like the government will take over the banking industry and search everyone's checking account for deviant/patriotic behavior to punish?
Also, what state is that Freeper living in where the DMV requires your email address before they give you a driver's license and has access to your medical records?

The WEF isn't the government and the government isn't the one that drove the financial industry towards digital banking/transactions. That was just sort of technology, capitalism, and convenience. Having a digital record of everything is just an outgrowth of that.
That was why I was assuming they were confused and thought it was some kind of government takeover of the financial sector or it was about mandating individual financial transparency to the government or something.
