thinking about a post from this thread a few hundred pages back, about how IDF propaganda had reached the level of Nigerian phone scams; if it is sufficiently stupid, you filter out people capable of or willing to interrogate how stupid it is, until your audience consists entirely of true believers braying for death. confronting this audience also serves to exhaust, confound and demoralize any of your ideological enemies who care about reason or empathy, who still think being "right" means anything in the face of state power israel and the US will inevitably humiliate and doom themselves. they will not even entertain the idea that they shat and slipped in it until long after the damage has been done. i hope that the people fighting them are able to hasten this process and mitigate the loss of life. these are such stupid countries, and every murder committed in pursuit of their national interests is a waste and a tragedy
