Not necessarily, he’s still working his way back from a high ankle sprain, which is why he’s third on the depth chart— he’s the emergency QB right now, and not because Malik Willis is a better option. The Titans may need him to play before the end of the season is my larger point. The Titans aren’t going to do him a favor while he’s under contract and has value to them. He’s still an asset to the team he’s under contract for.
