yea ok posted:Who are some people you hope are in the Continental Classic, what some are calling the C2 I got Mark Briscoe so I'm happy with whoever else, but I'm hoping for a returning Bandido and maybe a surprise outside guest from like NJPW or something, or a really unusual pick people might not be expecting. I'd also like to see Adam Copeland and Hook for similar reasons - anything to integrate them fully into mixing it up with the whole roster and get a bunch of first-time-ever matches going. Would be fun! Edit: Oh, RUSH and Garcia!

In tangential AEW news, Madi Wrenkowski is apparently signed with WWE. I enjoyed her appearances in AEW, hope it goes well for the houndstooth nightmare. They seem to be heating Garcia up a bit more, hope he's involved in this tournament and wrestles well.

After losing to Andrade he had this promo talking about how he’s not afraid to shoot his shot and risk eating a loss if it means he’s taking a chance on himself (or something along those lines). It felt very much like a promo about being in the C2 without fully saying it, so I hope he winds up in it. Put Colt in it as the Yano of the tournament. Put Lee Moriarty in there too so you can heat him up again.

I will forever curse Warner Bros for their insistence on not booking intergender matches because Statlander in the C2 would loving slap. My #1 hope is for Omega to enter, I'd love a Danielson/Omega rematch to happen.
