It's also interesting because I think it's showing his strengths (extremely funny, quick-witted, unmatched energy, convincing and assured speech) as well as the things he'll need to work on (overexcited in a way that leads to him talking over others when trying to get your shots in, mouth runs faster than his brain). All in all it's a very very funny episode. I'm glad he's in AEW.

I’m glad we can stop pondering whether or not Punk is The Devil now and if WBD demanded he be hired back. That’s what I’m most thankful for this weekend. Weird C2 matches on Collision again. I feel like Eddie and Garcia both should have won their first matches. Brody could have beaten Eddie later in the tournament or something. This just kind of makes Eddie look like a giant loser who bet on himself and lost immediately.

If TNA still exists after making many many many worse mistakes than AEW has made so far, AEW ain't going to die. It may change networks, it may switch to a streaming service instead of cable TV, hell maybe they'll even do a weekly PPV model, but it ain't gonna die. WCW died because the network that owned them got sold to a buyer who didn't like wrestling or want it on their network. ECW died because WCW poached their talent, which was because Paul Heyman was bad with money. The Khans own AEW and they're billionaires, so neither of those things are a concern as far as AEW remaining a viable operation. It may not be on TNT/TBS any more one day (which is why I think naming their men's and women's TV titles after those networks was a dumb idea), but it's not going to die any time soon.

He’s at his strongest at the start and then takes losses toward the end when he’s weakened, until he finally pulls out a big unexpected win right at the end.

I’ll also say that even when I may not be as excited about a particular match in the C2 or am disappointed by a finish, as soon as guys start cutting promos about the tournament I’m right back in.

I will say it sucked that the best friend I was with didn't go to the show because she got turned away because her purse was too big and the staff was like "hope you didn't park too far" and since we bussed from Shadyside she just took the bus back home and was too bummed out to go back. She did picked me in her rental car and I hung out eating depression cookies and watched Defunctland, Kennywood Memories, and the anime I'm in love with a Villianess. Got really high for the first time because she had a fancy weed vape. But in short gently caress Pitts dumb bag policy, show ruled wish the crowd was livelier. Always chasing that atmosphere of the first Rampage which was electric. I did leave after Collison and missed ROH so I'm glad it was a good show.
