Serenity also had a different invasion route and targets, and the results were synced between the servers. Most of the EDENCOM systems are a result of Serenity.

Did anyone try the vanguard play test today? I was invited and attempted it on my Linux box with wine. It didn’t work for me probably because of wine issues. The anti cheat client seemed to fail to initialize while entering a battleground.

To be fair, CCP has been trying to make logistics as much of a pita as possible pretty much since day 1. The only reason they actually introduced freighters at all is because the playerbase told them there was no way anyone was gonna try to build endgame stuff (outposts, supercaps) in any significant quantity otherwise. e: and CCP really wanted people to build endgame stuff circa 2006 because there was such a glut of raw material on the market that the economy was very close to collapsing entirely. It's just dumb cause the whole reason nullsec alliances are nullsec alliances is they don't want to live in lowsec, but apparently they should have to be forming fleets multiple times daily in lowsec to defend their gold-plated loot pinatas so their logistics don't shut down entirely? Yeah ok. And it's not like the economy can live without nullsec industry because you can't operate reactors in highsec.
