Genocide is far and away the cheaper "solution". The effective rule is "Do unto others before they do unto you". HAMAS explicitly wants the extermination of all Jews and the destruction of Israel. The Palestinians in Gaza overwhelmingly support HAMAS. The only effective "negotiation" is for Israel to exterminate the Palestinians in Gaza.
It is a difficult problem. The Israelis do not appear willing or even capable of doing what is necessary to solve that problem. Nor will the current United States government allow Israel to do what is necessary. The shadow people who control our government are pro-Muslim and anti-Jewish.
We will see how this turns out. An Israel victory is by no means certain.
Bernie Sanders mumbling absurdities about the "rights" of Israel are of no importance.

Neither Bernie Sanders, nor any US Senator, has a right to tell any sovereign nation what it does or doesn’t have a right to do in its own self-defense, especially not when said nation was subjected to an unprovoked attack in which people were raped, tortured, had their bodies desecrated or kidnapped - ALL of which was both done on purpose and is contrary to international law.
2) Sanders is making the (purposeful) mistake of believing Hamas, an organization that is even more barbaric than the Nazis (because they are PROUD of what they did, and broadcast it all over the place, in addition to mass murder and torture). Israel is 109% justified under international law on what it has done, and Hamas is 100% responsible for ALL of the civilian casualties. THAT is international law.

China is kind of magical when it comes to climate change.
All of the following are true:
- China is the world's biggest polluter/emissions producer - more than every other developed country in the world combined.
- China has the fastest growing amount of green energy production.
- China is also significantly expanding their coal and petroleum production/power generation.
- China has proposed much more aggressive green energy goals than most other countries.
- China hasn't come close to meeting most of their aggressive energy goals and, as of 2022, they officially have sort of given up.
So, depending on which bullet point you ignore, you can say they are either ahead of the curve or far worse than every other developed nation combined.
China now says they are not really concerned with reducing emissions and are focused on "adapting" to climate change instead of a "focus on mitigation" with greenhouse gases. They want to be the biggest source of green energy technology, but also want to crank up their coal usage. So they do have a more aggressive goal to hit peak emissions earlier, but they are setting their peak pretty high and don't plan to do much to reduce emissions anymore.

The problem is that if you look at the wide range of photography and the quality it is just not feasible for astronauts (who have many other critical tasks to attend to) to make it happen.
This is not “passive photography”. One problem is that the astronaut gloves have very little dexterity to deal with tiny camera controls over lighting, direction etc.
The book I cited gets into the challenges of the Kodak cameras used—Kodak did everything they could to make it work but at the end of the day their experts knew that mediocre photos were the best could be hoped for—and there was a strong chance that many rolls of film would be damaged by radiation and temperature issues.
The large quantity of professional level clean pictures are not credible imho.

The case is already decided in summary judgment before any witnesses were heard. No jury trial because Token AG specifically filed it in this court and now it’s only about what fine he pays.

Over half of voters don’t like Trump (somewhere around 60% according to one poll). But I’ve seen a poll that over half of voters also don’t like Biden (around 53%). If you add both percentages it would be over 100%, which isn’t possible. What will happen is that there will be a significant percentage (maybe as high as 10%) who don’t vote for Trump or Biden.

It's kind of funny at least one of them realizes Trump would absolutely prefer to be in some expensive club with a rapper than having lunch with a regular maga donor - not because he just loooove him some black men, but because rappers are more likely to have lots of money than random Arkansas racist grandma. Trump cares about exactly two things: how others perceive him and how much money he has access to, and both of those things are closely interrelated. Absolutely everything else is either irrelevant or as easy to change as a pair of underwear. His base either doesn't understand this or doesn't care so long as it's their underwear he's wearing (so to speak).
