Honestly, I don't see how Dr. Ratio got any less interesting. The gist of the changes is that they made it less random. Before, he got a random buff or did a followup attack for each debuff on his target, and you needed 5 debuffs to guarantee you got the FUA (which is where the lion's share of his damge comes from). You also needed to attack several times to stack up all the random buffs to their maximum stacks. Now, you only need 3 debuffs to guarantee the FUA, and two attacks to stack up his buffs to max. So, unless "interesting" to you was "checking his stats after every attack to see which buffs he got", his actual gameplay hasn't changed in any way except to make him less reliant on specific party compositions.

Outside of her, Dr. Ratio himself provides one, Topaz provides one (two with her LC), Pela provides one, the Nihility LC Resolution Shines As Pearls Of Sweat provides one, DOTs count, etc. But yes, one of the problems with his initial kit was that you were either at the mercy of RNG or had to really build the entire team around ensuring there's 5 debuffs at all time. With only 3 required for his buffs and FUA now, it's a lot easier, and you can still go all the way to 5 if you want to give him a little extra damage.

If I get lucky on Argenti and RM banners and have a chunk of change left over I might try and get him, I have Topaz so more FUA characters are welcome. I also enjoy being contrarian so being an Argenti stan is a good groove for me to fall in.

I get it, people are always coming in way too hot with this game on social media. I really like that this thread is more than just "x is mid" and hornyposting. I think it's just the kind of game that makes people's blood run hot lol. And the one-two punch of Hanya and Argenti is too pretty to ignore, they would make a cute core of a physical team, and I'm one of the people who wants to build a team for every element. I'm also not too pumped about Xueyi, I love her visual design but her kit doesn't really contain anything I really need a 4- star for. If Dr. Ratio is fun in the story mode, that could change my mind and make my decisions more complicated. Skipping banners in this game is hard but that also makes it more engaging.

  Different team comps nearly every single time, I didn't just grind for good RNG. I also still nearly didn't make it because I forgot to switch out Quinque's attack boots for her speed boots. I still maintain this challenge is a little overtuned. It's a struggle if you only have 122 speed, nearly impossible with less. I managed Gepard in 3 cycles with my favorite team. Topaz, Clara, and Kafka.

 The lack of Qua weaknesses for Seele to prey on made me drag Silver Wolf out to play. Definitely pushed me a bit more than last time but still comfortably under the wire.

Farming relics drives me nuts sometimes. I've been trying to scrounge up an Imaginary set for Welt, and after 10 days of watching my resin burn, I still have 0 crit chests and 0 speed boots. But somehow, the game has given me 2 crit chests and 4 pairs of speed boots for the fire set instead. Right after the release of the new follow-up set for Himeko, naturally. Maybe Hook will finally gain all the power she deserves.

Hit up the new MoC. My damage is good enough to meet all the cycle counts and Bailu can keep her team alive, but Gepard can't. It's actually pretty frustrating. Just random deaths on his teams (as low as MoC 6 had one, then not again until 9, goofy stuff). Any tips for sucking less with Gepard? I've 30'd since Jingliu until this week, and I probably can eventually this week, but random single deaths I (seemingly?) can't do anything about are so sad.

As much spd as you can pile on him really. Sorry Bronie you're not getting your E1. Hope this guy's good, because he is incredible.
