If you want something where a steady machine-like rhythm is the absolute focus then as long as you're down with distortion, my recs would be:

Hypnoskull https://ant-zen.bandcamp.com/album/the-manichaean-consciousness (his previous two releases - Immer Weider Nein and Die4 Generation are similar)
Greyhound https://greyhoundofficial.bandcamp.com/album/insomnia (all their releases sound pretty much the same, tbh)

Greyhound in particular - every track is pretty much just a steady rhythm with some textures that may evolve and shift slightly over the course of the track but they don't really do much more than that. They're great, if that's your thing.

these two are exactly what I was looking for, especially Greyhound. Exactly what I wanted to a t, im really digging GH. Ty!!

If you're not already familiar, I also reccommend digging through the catalogue of the label they're on - Hands, as it's mostly rhythmic noise of broadly similar kinda things (sometimes more techno, sometimes more IDM). The annual Forms of Hand samplers have a good selection if you wanna try our artists. https://handsofficial.bandcamp.com/

Might be a bit on the electro/EBM side but Die Krupps can be good at making metal machine music too.

The head of the EK Product record label revealed today that he had been in a very nasty motorcycle accident back in September and nearly lost one of his arms in the process. Now, he's encouraging all the artists on the label to find new homes if they have completed projects while he rehabilitates because he can't run day to day operations on the label at the present time.

I wish him a speedy recovery, but in the meantime, I don't know what to do. I've had a finished album since February.

I was gonna say that this is a really fun album and I do in fact enjoy it, but I forgot, but now I remembered so there it is

Would've picked it up on Bandcamp Friday when you released it but I totally forgot it was Bandcamp Friday until I got to the milestone and someone reminded me :p

I found TKK's stage show fairly worn out and depressing in ~2004 w/KMFDM, so I am super super curious to see what they are like now. Have they completed the circle and become energetic and spritely again?

I like Sarah McLachlan. Also, it's the only concert my spouse or I have ever fallen asleep during; Buffalo ~2006, with good seats and some very good weed brownies. Can't say I've ever fallen asleep when Nivek or cEvin have been in the building.

They're explicitly only playing their old stuff, so they at least know what we want from them.

Don't press play
Got a ticket for HEALTH in London in December for their new album's launch party - venue capacity is only 250 so it should be a good show.

I saw Kanga supporting Gary Numan in 2019 (last gig pre-pandemic) and liked her show and been following her new releases ever since. Good stage energy.

TKK delivered fantastic cheesy goth dance music. 100% satisfied.

ADULT. surprised me with how great they were. At one point they strung up some packing tape and then attached a mic to it and scraped it to play it like an instrument.

KANGA was a bummer though. She was going for this "goth seductress" energy that I just wasn't a fan of, and I like her studio albums.

Yeah, that vocal effect in the new Ashbury song is what you do when you’re completely bored with music and just fuckin’ around with plug-ins. I can’t believe they released the track like that.

I had high hopes for Yaz returning, but I don’t think they’re into making the kind of music I’m interested in listening to anymore. I didn’t really like Victorian Wallflowers, either, and none of their singles and collaborations the past few years have really hooked me.
It's grown on me a lot. It's a lot at first, but I feel it's on-brand and ... actually good, or "comfortabe". I feel Ashbury Heights in general has been ahead of modern pop production and it's a weird tortured relationship they have. Like they're always going to be too alt to break into the mainstream, and that feels deliberate.

I randomly looked up what Kari Berg had been doing, and missed she'd been in a different project over ten years ago. She sounded fantastic in it, but ugh the music is so cheap sounding.

Holy poo poo ... on a lark I requested Seabound and Covenant at a good Toronto karaoke bar my partner had been bringing me to. I thought there was a chance because they had some of my old alt-rock faves like Ned's Atomic Dustbin and PWEI, but they always had a few Assemblage 23 tracks.

But they filled in,

Seabound:

Castaway
Hooked
Poisonous Friend
Watching Over You
Without You (sidenote, I like this song, but it seems like a weirdly popular one I don't understand why)

Covenant:

Afterhours
Brave New World
Bullet
Call The Ships To Port
Dead Stars
Happy Man
Lightbringer
Ritual Noise
Stalker
The Last Dance
We Stand Alone

BAEST MODE!!!
Rein's new album came out yesterday, I'm a little disappointed. Definitely is a little poppier than I expected. Reincarnated might be my favorite EBM album of the century so it's hard to live up to, but this one isn't as interesting. A couple of really strong tracks, especially where the Djedjotronic influence is more evident, but even their EP last year felt like a step down.
