I did a kind of interesting experiement because I couldn't help but feel my elf city thing (https://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=4000251&pagenumber=393#post536251858 and previous) was kind of blatantly racially coded. i switched the colour from "white" to "black" and sure enough they came out looking like drows, black humans or some mixture of the two, but giving the prompt some tweaks made the results quite beautiful in a stylistically distinct way            the only thing i couldn't really to do is make the background less gloomy - it always seems to want it on a dark forest floor rather than out in open sunlight. i tried other colours as well, but they produced less good results (green just gives you leprechauns, blue gives you either avatar or world of warcraft night elves, grey gives you straight steampunk type stuff, and any other colour like yellow, red or purple just amounted to a colour filter over the same kind of stuff it generates for black or white) HORSE-SLAUGHTERER fucked around with this message at 11:30 on Dec 1, 2023 |

I don't think you can actually see the 'true' prompt used to generate the image through Bing, but it is just trying to jazz up your picture. If you ask it for 'a box' it's going to go "a box on the street in the rain and there is sixteen hot dogs and and and", ok not exactly like that but you know what I mean.

I've experimented with single colour themes too, and have definitely had plenty of results where the figures are a single uniform colour and thus look more like statues than living beings, but with enough tries I got some decent results:
