I fell off an electric scooter at 15 mph and it shredded my elbow, skin avulsion in three places where I had three holes to my subcutaneous layer. Thankfully I didn't break anything but they couldn't suture those wounds because oops! No skin! 15 mph is incredibly dangerous, what the hell

I pulled something putting on my seatbelt a while back and now I can't raise my left arm above shoulder height without pain. Before putting my saftey belt on, I laid back in the seat on a bumblebee. Did you know bumblebees can sting? Did you know they can sting multiple times? 0mph, engine off.

This site's ability to "well actually" any statement made is honestly incredible sometimes... Motocompacto racing league requires all riders to wear safety gear. Mainly because it would be hilarious to see everyone in racing leathers on tiny little electric bikes but also for safety. Goons.

Also, a trust fund baby, along with his two brothers, who all live in an absurd mansion on top of a hill in Tübingen. Through their university years, the brothers re-imported big Mercs from the US, fixed them up, and re-sold them to ??? They became experts at fixing poo poo that the factory wouldn't touch. Mad scientists. Savants at vacuum driven accessories, complex pneumatics, and intricate electrical systems. My dad's friend said, "gently caress that.", at a certain point and decided to import classic American cars from the 50's-60's. If, during the 80's, you saw a finned Eldorado, a hopped up Tri-Five, or a Hemi-equipped Mopar in southern Germany, buddy probably had something to do with the thing. He sold it all off, bought a Diablo SV, decided to get rid of the thing after six months, and do something more sane with his money. Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane for fun ended up being the sane option compared to dealing with all that. I remember him. Almost seven foot tall. The most awkward person possible, always apologizing for hitting his head on poo poo.

My dad had one of those, not in fantastic shape but the top worked! Fun fact: You can see a box in the "trunk" where the top would retract to, that's a basket specifically for storing things in the trunk with the top down - that's the only area in the trunk not taken up by the top when its down.
