Yet. Come to think of it there's probably plenty of demand for research on the MJ growing market.

I'll pass on making my plants more leggy. I don't need any triffids in my house.

It's good to know that it is pretty standard and easy for them to include the right LEDs though. No idea what ratio I'd need either. I just want my seedlings to grow indoors so I can get a head start on growing seasons.

What about pod people? Plenty of them could benefit from more legginess.

Sprouts and micro greens are also an illuminated growing market.

You can buy indoor grow kits for herbs and small plants from Amazon, probably even from your local hardware store. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B08DLMRKHM Prices vary from $30 - $300 but you can probably get the cheapest one and your plants will do fine. This website has some simple info about the best lights for seedlings, too (tl;dr is they need blue-green light and the stronger the light, the better).

Also worth noting that those aquaponic gardens have mostly white LEDs so that they are aesthetically pleasing, with some extra red/blue ones in there to boost that part of the spectrum

light color and its effects on plants varies wildly depending on species and wavelength. A full spectrum light isn't expensive. These grow strips will work fine for anything that isn't a cactus: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805538154964.html Top-shelf grow poo poo uses Samsung LM301B/LM301H LEDs. You can search anywhere, including aliexpress, by led model. I wonder if one of those would work like a happy light too, since it’s wide spectrum. Could help my office plants and me at the same time.

Samme with some sugar peas indoors, though with multiple. You just need to go a lot stronger than what people usually do with lighting.

Well I gave up on aliexpress, turned to alibaba instead, now I have ordered 200pcs of these. I'll buy wire locally and make my own sets. Of course given shipping times this will be a project for christmas 2024.

Does it just chomp down on the nail? Like the mechanism is an up-down thing? More potentially injurious healthcare products, I got my foot grinder but had to charge it first so I haven’t used it on my feet yet. I did hit the callous on the side of my hand while charging and it stripped that back to soft skin very quickly and impressively. There’s a lot of rules for using it
