I live in a city. It rules. I know my neighbors and I'm within walking distance of Carrs/Krogers. There's also an assload of greenbelts for biking and walking. GOTY 2023: going outside

I lived in a big city, the kind where you can never see an animal that isn't a pigeon or pet, or a plant that isn't the saddest tree in the world. Then I moved to a small city, where I live next to a park. It's nice

I think Harahan counts as a suburb of New Orleans but honestly that area feels like one giant city. The only thing separating the sprawl is the river and then it's just east bank and west bank. New Orleans, Metarie, Kenner, River Ridge, Harahan, Elmwood - it all just bleeds into each other. Then I lived in Lake Charles which is much smaller. Now I'm in a place with 100k population. I've never lived in a gigantic city with like a million people.
