Photoshop probably has the better magic auto select but Simpson frames are generally easy enough to clean up by hand. Expect your first crops to take time like 30-60 minutes you are learning, they will get faster. Undo (control+z) is your friend, release the mouse button to "save" every so often so you can undo bad erasing / cropping. Basically do it in strokes like a paint brush. I should probably start learning GIMP now that I've gone over to Linux. I miss paint.net but replacing my dying computer with one that doesn't have Windows 11 was more important.
