Not to excuse the pathological liar but Molyneux wasn't exactly promising AGI, the little fake dev diaries they made were mostly about a leap in speech recognition - it was widely understood that the game would still be stapling prerecorded lines together with further interactions advancing a mostly linear story. They promised a totally achievable prototype, it just didn't exist The funniest moment was probably Claire raising the drawing for the camera to scan; all Milo does with it is announce the dominant color, a simple demo you can get running on the Kinect no problem. The presentation makes the scene work because we can imprint on a loving rock if you draw a smiley face on it

No point going to sleep and then getting trapped in a nightmare that will never end because my brain is trying to go as fast as it possibly can through every scenario and just getting totally weird combinations. At the very least that should help with the tearing. If shaders aren't loading, you might have some memory issues. See if you can swap out your cerebral cortex, if you can that might solve the problem right away. For Full Paralysis Sleep, it might have to do with your sleep frequency, or with medication / drugs you're taking. There's so many things it could be that, aside from trying to reset your body to factory default behavior, you may need to bring your brain to a specialist for repair. At worst, you may have to either replace it or just accept the demon that's sitting on your chest and suffocating you as the price you have to sometimes pay for your lifestyle.

Evil Fluffy posted:Brave is Chromium based, fwiw. They got Vivaldi now recently too, LibreWolf still works though and is fast (though probably not ideal for regular day to day browsing). Firefox overall is cool but for some reason it always runs the slowest for me and no matter what I do on any machine I have. Brave seems cool in theory but the creator is some kind of shithead and also their ad model (and them even having one) is not great. I like Vivaldi the most of these overall. Is there a way to add an option to a browser so when you can right click on a link and one of the options is to open the link in a different browser lol I think that would make everyone happy.

You can right click and open new tab in incognito mode for most browsers these days, I think. Not sure what problem you’re solving for but it’s great for bypassing some paywalls.

I don't know how but I must have rolled the most natural 20 of all natural 20s on luck because I've never had youtube try to stop me from using ad blockers while running on chrome. Ublock Origin, normal chrome, and nothing, I would have figured by this point I would have gotten something and I don't think I do anything different with versions or updates or other plugins. I've set up firefox with ublock just in preparation for the new year, but that works less reliably by a big margin for me than whatever my setup is right now on chrome.

I think there are a bunch of settings you have to adjust to make it work. It worked for me for a while but I get blocked 100% of the time now even with ublock and noscript.

Ublock Origin needs to update their stuff regularly to keep ahead so if you are keeping Chrome open but not Firefox, that could be why.

My YT ad block situation is weird. I have Ublock flagged by google and turned off but have some other thing running that doesn't entirely stop the ads but kind of interrupts them after a second and then I get a click screen to buy some phone game or whatever that I can instantly skip or just wait like 5 seconds and it goes away. I'd bet anything, though, that this move by Google is working exactly as intended where thousands or millions of people are subscribing to premium but I haven't looked it up. It's probably similar to when Netflix did the PW sharing crackdown and increased their subscription rate.

We add privacy protections on top, so there's no fingerprinting or tracking, and all of our ads are purely contextual (not behavioral). The instant answers are all built and run in-house.

I see people say it's slower than Brave/etc. but it hasn't made a difference for me and the customization and features on it really clicked with me to. The mobile app for it also, they like read my mind and differentiated it from Chrome in the exact small ways that made me hate using Chrome on my phone, good stuff. When I gave Brave a chance before I knew more about it being so crypto-centric and the owners being poo poo people, I was blown the gently caress away by how the mobile app's main start page is a crypto game ad? Fuuuuuuck thaaaaat fastest uninstall and scouring from every platform I have ever. It's nuts to me that a major feature of the browser is that it blocks ads but at the same time they have an entire like internal ad setup.
