The only two ways that this war could end that would allow Israel to, at the very least, minimize its losses and humiliation is if Hamas surrenders (not gonna happen) or if the hostages are all released through an exchange deal that would probably involve a lasting ceasefire. Instead, Netanyahu and his band of morons are gonna kill the hostages and lose the war completely unless the Americans force them to cut the bullshit.

This is such a stupid FPS weapon, like "We're in the middle of a badass firefight, Field Marshal Vile GoJoe is gonna take the sponge bomb and plant it in the tunnel to cut off their spawn point!" It only makes sense if you assume Hamas has a single tunnel exit in the area, and they really really need it, right that moment, and they cant wait until the IDF leave (at which point you just carve out the foam) literally the only use I can think of for it is "we're getting our asses kicked so hard in the tunnels that we need a dedicated Insta-Wall bag to block off chasing us" which is honestly very honest of the designers kudos
