Unless youre talking about a different game, Titans went for 2 on the first of two needed touchdowns. For once they actually played to win the game instead of playing to not lose, and it paid off. If they miss it on the first attempt, they have a second shot at 2 on the next necessary touchdown. If you dont trust your offense to win one of two 2 pt conversions, you dont trust them to score two touchdowns in that time either.

They probably means the Jags/Browns, where the Jags needed a FG to tie if they kicked an XP but instead went for and failed a 2pt. They didn't recover an inside so it ended up moot. That situation is a lot more ballsy but yeah, probably not the smartest play
