If the Biden admin is starting to backtrack, and I'm far from convinced they are, it's only because they've both completely lost control of the narrative even within western countries AND because the IDF has accomplished nothing in terms of degrading Hamas' military capability. Now is the time to continue pressuring both Israel and the US from as many angles as possible.

Hey lurker here but I Just to want come back for a moment on the gore porn (I think it's bad long term seeing a lot of it by the way). I'm from Quebec and we have TV5 here that's an amalgam of all French TV around the world, I never watch it but yesterday I was sick so I was channel surfing after breakfast and caught the Belgian news, they were talking about the genocide (and they use the word genocide at my loving surprise) and showing really but really bloody videos from Palestinians, deads,some alive with missing limbs, childrens too, and not after the fact with bandages. No, it was like it just happened and there's blood and gore everywhere. It was horrible. I try to not watch these kind of clips anymore because it affected me greatly before, but for once I was glad that they showed it. It's real, it's happening and if you don't shock dumb westerners like that nothing is gonna change. So yeah thank you for your time and peace be with you and also dti, dta and Canada.

My real life friend circle, all of them on board with Palestine and supporting their cause, and none of them have looked at horrific gore videos. Many of them are learning about this for the first time, and understood right away that Israel is in the wrong. I wish more people were on board with supporting Hamas, but I can understand that publicly that is a scary proposition. The U.S. is one of only six countries to consider them a terrorist group. They are absolutely not a terrorist group though, but goodluck convincing most people of that.

Let me level about my real reasons for not liking it. I hate the idea of taking entertainment from watching someone else's war. It's so voyeuristic It is a liberal moralizing position, but it's still how I feel.
