CK3 to EU4 Vote The fifth and final vote, as below, will deal with the new world. Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Yamitians, Tauricans… ever has the Punic race been at the forefront of exploration and expansion, discovering new lands and peoples in every corner of the world, known and unknown. It cannot be long before a wayward ship or ambitious explorer turns his gaze even farther afield, however, across the changeable Oceanic waves, and onto a new world ripe for conquest and colonisation. What is waiting in this new world? A — Native Revival — already having been exposed to peoples and diseases from the old world, the new world is dominated by several large and powerful native empires — results in feudal-esque native kingdoms that will be much harder to colonise (countries selected will be decided by dice) B — Punic Cousins — wherever men might tread, the Punics will trade with them, and that is true even for the enormity of the new world, where trading colonies were established in the ancient wave of expansion that set forth from Carthage — several Puno-Polynesian settlements (exact number decided by dice) will dot the coasts of the new world, though they will begin as rather small and merchant-based powers C — Third Rome — they might’ve been defeated, and defeated again, and enslaved, and scourged, and scattered to the seven corners of the world… but the Romans will not die — a Roman-Norse kingdom will stretch across the east coast (size and strength decided by dice) Go forth and vote!

A Carthage has its homeland, the strongest empire in the world, the steppe and every player in India as well as its successor states all around. Rome still reigns in faith to the north of Europe and may get its day now with a conqueror to finally return home. But America.... America is the promise of something new.

My initial instinct is C , but I'm wondering if there'd be some overlap with A in that case. I imagine that the Norse-Romans bringing over some of the other hemisphere's diseases would leave the indigenous populations weaked and ripe for small-scale conquests, but it has the chance to also give a lot of the Great Lakes/ Missisipi River-adjacent cultures further inland a chance to rebound and be more on parity with the invaders. Could be neat to have both factions vying for control by the time Cathage finally discovers them. That's just me fan-theorizing, of course. Dice will do what dice will do!

Taking on Rome while having a Romaboo mod was great fun, but Rome 2: Electric Boogaloo was honestly a let down. I don't think a part 3 will bring back the magic unless it gets *all* the crazy-good EU4 mechanics.
