Now this is very early days and the reasons why aren’t understood but at the research lvl studies of ASD are often focused on the gut biota and GABA. Also why kids with Rhett’s or LGS do better on ketogenic diets. We’ll understand why in a century.

I don’t have the numbers handy but ASD has a higher incidence of Celiacs as well, and every patient I ever saw with ASD also had chronic constipation.

Have a big ol breaded and fried onion is like…the worst thing they could eat.

Yeah they did a quinoa bowl automat called Eatsa with ~technology~ that got some big VC buxx. didn't last longhttps://www.restaurant-hospitality.com/technology/eatsa-pivots-restaurant-tech-platform https://sf.eater.com/2019/7/23/20706270/eatsa-closed-tech-company-starbucks-investment-brightloom

I think it failed mostly because of loads of debt in expanding quickly, and also that it was more foofoo techbro/williamsburg 'adtech marketing engineer' food, and still priced a bit too expensive for what should be "cheap".

anytime they open some new fast-food drive-thru chain in whitesville, suburbia, there's always massive lines. i recently saw some photo of a loving tim hortons or chikfila or something in some PA suburb and lines were like 8 hours long causing chaos on the streets

people are so starved of any meaning that waiting in their car for 8 hours to buy soggy fast food is the pinnacle of existence: that's the american burgerlyfe culture bay-bee :patriot:
