News helicopter went down in south Jersey. Pilot & photographer killed. https://patch.com/new-jersey/westde...2c07932f6051ac6 They were returning to Philadelphia from the shore, probably shooting aerials & B-roll of the flooding there. No details yet, but 'debris field' sounds pretty grim.

If it was really dark and there were few visible terrain features or lights, some form of black hole illusion seems like a possibility, and it would lead to high speed CFIT.
