That is a very cute keyboard cat! I bought Newton an expensive bed. Last night I came home from being out for a few hours and instead of staring at me from the crate he actually came out of it to see me and laid on the bed (that’s where he gets the good pets). Getting him out of the crate for walks is still a challenge and he still doesn’t know come/sit/real leash manners but he is trusting me more which is cool to see. That boy is doing so well, and trying so hard  He's crazy mellow for so early in the process, he's fast asleep while you're filming him close up. For context, my sweet, crazy, sensitive boy Henry has been my own precious for 8 years, from when he was less than a year old, and I still can't pat him unexpectedly on the butt. He runs off if unexpected buttpats happen.
