I realized that the reason the cowboys suck on the road is because they don't have any checks or motion at the line of scrimmage. I'll look it up when I get bored but it seems super obvious that when Dallas goes on the road, they abandon pre snap reads and audibles. McCarthy has said in interviews that he doesn't like motion and changes to the play because "it creates more opportunities for mistakes" so I wonder if Dallas simply hasn't bothered with a system for calling off plays in loud environments because they're already the most penalized team in the league and they aren't disciplined enough to handle it.

I think Dan Quinn poo poo the bed last night. Giving Hill a 15 yard cushion was loving stupid. If you give up a bomb for a TD on that drive - good. Dak gets the ball back with a chance to win. Allowing 8 yard completions over and over is a recipe for getting the clock chewed up en route to a last second FG.
