Vilma figured out that sleeping on my laptop keyboard is a good way to be where I am and also get attention.  I spent a bunch of time waiting on the Windows lock screen for Vilma to stop pressing down the number 5 or whatever, until I realized that if I slip a cutting board between her and the laptop, she will rest on the frame of the laptop instead of on the keys:  Also Fondue, the asthmatic stray coming to my care has recovered nicely from operations done on her hind legs to fix her kneecaps:

Several years back, I brought a stray in that turned out to be pregnant. She was never interested in being friends with me, but her babies were. So they were riding around on me, cause humans make excellent kitten jungle gyms, and one of the kittens bit its sibling on the butt, hard. So the bitten kitten screamed and mom-cat came over to glare at me before calling everyone back to the closet. I’m pretty sure she thought I had bitten her baby’s butt. The toddler kittens playing rough just reminded me of that.

Same expressions, usually exhibited when they pause briefly to thrash/ look wildly around. They never do this anywhere else, especially my ottoman, which is 10-feet away VVV  VVV
