ublock's subreddit has a pretty exhaustive post about navigating the new anti-adblock, but it mostly boils down to don't run two adblockers at once, turn off your browser's native anti tracking on youtube (because that in itself triggers it), keep ublock up to date, and check other extensions (such as youtube enhancement suite) to see if they are triggering the anti-adblock. There is also a website tracking whether ublock's script is up to date with youtube's anti-adblock script for easy reference. https://drhyperion451.github.io/does-uBO-bypass-yt/ I don't know if similar resources exist for other adblockers because I've just looked at the one I use, sorry!

i use vivaldi and have had no ad problems, didn't even know google was trying to compromise adblock until a few weeks ago when someone posted about it on SA

If it weren't for those videos, that money would still be sitting there. Y'know, the money people donated in good faith because they were told it was helping all these different areas when it was actually doing nothing. The only thing it was helping was a YouTuber's public image. So nah, I can't say I care much for both sides-ing this.

I should clarify, I don't mean to suggest that this video by MOON Channel and his lawyer's perspective doesn't have any value -- of course, they absolutely do and I don't want to throw any shade on that. But if (and let's be honest, it's a pretty big if right now) Jirard was to take Karl/Muta/whoever to court for defamation and win that case on legal grounds, I can't say it would change much about my opinion on the practices of him or the Open Hand Foundation, which to me are indefensible. I don't have any skin in particular when it comes to defending Karl Jobst, he has his way of doing things. If he was to end up in a court over this, it would hardly be the first time. I don't think he's particularly coy about the reason why he makes these sorts of video, and that's not exactly agreeable. But again, without those videos that money's still just sitting there, doing nothing except losing value. Even if some of their methods may have been lacking, what that foundation was doing (or...y'know, not doing) warranted highlighting.
