I gorged on games during the winter sale, so nothing planned for me in 2024 besides Like A Dragon, and I probably won’t get that on release

The only game I have planned right now apart from my backlog is the Hades II Early Access, which I know with absolute confidence will completely and utterly destroy me. Oh, and Balatro if that releases, but as for right now Jossar fucked around with this message at 02:27 on Jan 3, 2024 |

Waffleman_ posted:There were contract disputes between Frogwares and Nacon that led to them terminating the publishing contract and the game being delisted from every platform except the Switch, which Frogwares had self-published on. Nacon relisted their own hosed up version on Steam, Frogwares was like "hey gently caress you" and it eventually went to court Huh, interesting. I guess I should be glad I stopped playing so early on then, since it looks like they'll be releasing a non-hosed up version but my saves won't be compatible. I wonder what's actually going to change.

I have copies of TWEWY 2, RE4OG, Warhammer:Chaos Bane, and the Callisto Protocol I intend to play this year. On top of that I intend to buy and play Space Marine 2 and at least one more Resident Evil.

I read an interview a week ago where they specifically said it wasnt going to come out on game pass. that game pass helped them a lot in getting people familiar with yakuza in the west but, its served its purpose now. I'm surprised man who erased his name is even on there

terrible value continues to diminish E: at least game pass has a remake of persona 3 with less content than FES and Portable

imo its bullshit anyway, western yakuza fandom started growing way before they added them all to game pass

Yakuza 0 releasing on a console with a dedicated "post funny moments to Twitter" button was really the catalyst.

ToTK trip report. Found a giant maze in the sky in the Gerudo Desert, which said I had to do the maze on the ground first. Do the maze on the ground... Then do the maze in the air... It tells me to take a leap My first trip into the depths! Turns out it's a prison for a giant cube monster.. Pull the giant cube monster apart Win a cool mask! Doors to prison are open.. Oh.. there's.. there's no light in the depths. 5 health and no stam upgrades and just the starter armour.. Def doing things in the wrong order I think

I beat Witcher 3 with my wife in 2023 and while the story and quests hold up fine, the combat did not. I would love for someone to mod better combat into that thing

I would love for someone to mod better combat into that thing I've been saying it for years. The story is generally good in W3, although it has it's weak points. But the combat has always been busy work as is the detective vision quests. W2 is luckily much better in both areas.

I beat one of the type specialists and a major boss and now I'm kinda lost besides maybe hunting some monsters that give me abilities? And the companions I got seem to have long sidequests despite needing that to unlock fusion.

Yeah, you probably need the overworld movement abilities that open up the map more and let you solve the puzzles. Dash and climb and whatnot. Dash will be uh, pretty obvious which thing you get it from. You'll know when you see it. They also get a fight-oriented upgradeds later on opening a fight with movement abilities will start the fight with different effects such as dealing damage or starting with a wall already on your team
