Voting records usually have key people being absent for unknown reasons, and also no one really cares though. I still support getting it to Parliament, it's just going to be a depressing result in the end.

Not unknown, it's the clearing agreement. Has it been reestablished since they made those MPs with active COVID show up to vote and infect their colleagues?

Didn't we have one that came through in like early December? And it was practically laughed at in Folketinget?

That one was about condemning Israel's actions, but yes. It also made Radikale show their true colors by ultimately voting against their own revision of the proposal and put others on the record saying some heinous poo poo during the ensuing debate. Like I said, it's not going to change anything, it's a step up from an online petition, but also takes like 5 seconds to sign.

Tens of thousands marched again today in freezing weather. That's not going to end the genocide, either, and I doubt anyone present deludes themselves into thinking so.

Yeah, I know the clearing agreement, and it makes sense really (insofar as the individual MPs couldn't just leave a note with their vote, it's not like the debates change anything). The thing is that for controversial votes, I'm pretty sure the big names get cleared so they personally didn't have any involvement in voting against condemning genocide or whatever.

one must assume that this happens, but the big names are often also the busiest so there is harmony in serendipity. outside of a very, very few votes, however (hello otto hauglin on abortion), i don't think that scandinavian parliamentarism should let people get away from their party line. the parties are very powerful and if one is a parliamentarian of a party following a certain whip, one's personal presence or absence is quite irrelevant.

Afaik Denmark used to be an exporter of porn - there are Color Climax productions from 1969-1979 that are still popular.

It's CSAM. Denmark made CSAM legal for over a decade. Also beastiality

To be fair, they don't spend all their time selling out Swedish values to the highest bidder.

They also spend a lot of time building illegal attachments to their seaside vacation homes.

So, DR finally paid attention to a Gaza demo... and it was to cover noted psycho snuff video enjoyer Jaleh Tavakoli being confronted about her "Free Palestine from Hamas" sign. DR should really be dismantled.

I'm sure it is. The paucity of wholly homegrown culture produced by Norway is still a shame. Why did Norway decide to merely copy, rather than tell its own stories?

Funny name when they all are stockholmers. i know Jönsson is a very common nationwide surname, but damnit every Jönsson i personally know is a Scanian. It must at least be a more common surname in Skåne? Right or wrong, Jönsson is a very Skåne-coded name to me.

Sure, if you haven't followed their position at all. That nazi driving to the Ukrainian border, Lars Grønbæk Larsen, whom DR dedicated an entire program to without mentioning his past in Danish Front, etc., was also a member of Nye Borgerlige and met with candidates Anahita Malakians and Tom Andkjær.

Anyway, what's Marie Krarup up to these days?

This DR article mentions US, UK, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, and the Netherlands as being part of the attacks. I remember earlier statements from the Biden administration included Denmark in their list of countries that were not very happy with the Houthis, but I am not seeing anything yet that says Denmark is an active part of the new offensive.
