My politics are that I want trans polycules to be able to protect their combination grow ops / abortion clinics with crew-served weapons, rural Colorado is the place I have found the most people that share those beliefs.

I don't need you to show me what rural Colorado looks like. I live in an absolutely minuscule town in Colorado.

Semantically, "you" is both singular and plural, though syntactically it is always plural. It always takes a verb form that originally marked the word as plural.

Also, there is no plural when the context is an argument with an individual rather than a group. Somfin shouldn't put words in my mouth.

Well, is it your tiny town full of bigots? Also, yes, disliking rich white people jacking up the cost of living and imposing authoritarian father-knows-best laws, truly something that would make a Trump voter blush. Well, opinion would be split since there's the poor trump voters and the rich trump voters. And the artificial divide based on urban/rural and minority status is alive and well because class solidarity while maintaining awareness of the distinct issues that specific minorities might face is always the biggest threat to entrenched power structures. You only have to look at what happened to the original Rainbow Coalition to see that.

Fair point about the city liberal point, I was generalizing based on what I know of many of the people in this thread and hypocritically painting with too wide a brush. I never said I was socialist though, you're putting words in my mouth.

MLK day is a paid holiday at my company but no holidays or holiday pay for part-time people, I'm just probably going to be on call for the holiday on-call pay and hope I don't get any calls. And if I do, everything outside what is absolutely necessary gets to wait until Tuesday.

E: Maybe I put more vitriol than I needed to into my posts, I apologize. I stand by the underlying message of not wanting establishment liberals to directly dictate my existence but I communicated it badly. The job hunt is going like poo poo, every interview I either get ghosted or turned down, and I'm currently down to roughly .5mg nicotine e-liquid from 6mg over the past month so I'm extra irritable and I'm already an incredibly angry person whenever I'm not depressed.

You will not get a nastygram if you use one of the combined VPN+torrent client containers. They're specifically configured to only route traffic through the VPN interface, so something very wrong would have to happen for the traffic to leak out.

And if you're still paranoid, learn how to block torrent traffic at your router/firewall. It's not bulletproof, but it's an extra safeguard.

Thanks, I had quit back in 2021 but then in 2022 I started again because I was getting massively overworked (my own fault, I was working 3 jobs) and I've managed to quit for a couple weeks at a time a few times since then and then something terrible happens and I stop caring about my health and then I'm back in full swing. I've learned there's no such thing as "just one" with nicotine but it's hard to get to the point where I'm at "just zero" so I can stay there.

I will say that the web version can be jank as gently caress. But the poo poo is reliable. The web version just had an update that makes it look more like Vizio and makes tracking the process as a whole much more easily understood. Provided you’re building in a way that isn’t total poo poo.

PAD can jank its way through some lovely legacy programs too and has been a nice gateway drug to legit programming for my team.

It's basically a low-code scripting environment that has connectors to just about everything, and you can build out visual scripts using triggers and events. It's also built on the M365 platform so if you have a license you very likely have access to it.

A simple example: An item is added to a sharepoint list, which triggers a chatbot to post a form to a Teams channel.

If you use Qbittorrent then you can set your VPN network interface as the only one the app can use. The only tough part of torrents is finding a good site to use.

God isn't watching you... but I am!
So, here's what happened, now that I'm free.

1) Told a regular breakfix client, a Traffic Signal installer/contractor, about me leaving.

2) He (the owner) immediately calls his friends in Public Works and gets me an interview.

3) I apply to be a Traffic Signal Technician.

4) After interview, they asked me to reapply as a Maintenance Nechanic.

5) A few days later, the HR rep tells me they have a specific plan for me:

A) Make he do hard labour building street signs and road lines, get cdl.

B) Take that experience and become a Signal Technician.

C) By third year, they implement a Traffic monitoring system and make it my department, basically define the role.

So yeah, interesting.
