Please don't forget that I am an extremely racist idiot who also has terrible opinions about the Culture series.
Okay, I can't begin to figure this out.

Traffic headed southbound towards the intersection in the left turn lane is backed up to A, waiting for the light to turn.

Dude at B realizes he's going the wrong way and is sitting there with his turn signal on waiting to make a U-turn.

No other cars involved.

So instead of just proceeding northbound a little bit and making a U-turn, he sits there waiting for the light to turn and for the traffic to move south of A to give him room to do it. "No, this is where the lane divider ends, I must turn ONLY HERE!"

I love that it was a Tesla stan account that posted that video first saying "ANY car would struggle with this" failing to note that the video was taken by a vehicle quite happily pulling itself up a snowy road.

That's not even much snow, I've driven a Mustang on roads that look like that (yes I was nervous as gently caress about getting stuck at some points).

Driving to head away on a trip yesterday I had a bloke in a car nearly rear end me at a set of traffic lights before deciding the 2 way road was intact a divided road shortly after. He was driving in the oncoming lane for at least 400 meters before the traffic coming the other way had to move out his way to avoid an accident. I’d also started slowing down and moving to the side so that I didn’t get involved in the situation either.

I don't know man everytime I go to the gym here there are like two huge dudes with raging high and tights snorting Nitro-tech off of each other's rock hard abs.
I take sick amounts of joy in riding past stuck jeeps and trucks in my tiny FWD cars, properly sized snow tires are the best thing ever. With how heavy the CT is, I'd expect it to do better, but those are some really wide tires

There's not much more entertaining to me than when I'm on the highway cruising in the unplowed lane and someone decides that if my Fiesta's doing it their big truck/SUV must be able to as well, pulls out behind me, fishtails a bunch, and then pulls back over to the plowed lanes.

Another tangentially related one today. Saw a woman standing in a parking spot to save it, clearly irritated.st whoever she was on the phone with. Keeps on giving people the finger wag when they want in. Did my errands and she was still there 10 minutes later. There were 6 free spots just around the corner, she could have just gone inside.

I lived in rural NH for a winter at the top a good sized hill and the guy who's property it was had like an '87 Dodge Ramcharger, basically the K10 Blazer equivalent for Dodge. Anyway he would sometimes park at the bottom of the hill, or at a turnout halfway up and be like adamant if the Ramcharger couldn't make it, there was too much snow. We were friends with a guy who had like a '94 Jetta with studded snow tires and he would drive to the top of the hill every single time he came to visit us, often driving by the halfway parked Dodge. So much fun to watch the dude make excuses as to why the kid could do it but not him.

I do know some of it was technique though. The guy who had the Dodge definitely subscribed to the 'It's Going to Take a Whole Lot of Floorin' it to Get Out of This Mess' philosophy when it came to snow and ice.

I do recall, back when I was living in Montreal and smoking like a chimney, enjoying a full pipe while watching a U-Haul attempt to get up Peel Street north of Sherbrooke in a snowstorm. He never made it, but god bless the critter, he tried.

And that even the most humble of FWD shitboxes stop as well, if not better than, your truck, given the same tires. Oftentimes better on good winters if you didn't bother to switch from all seasons.

If the car is an ice-cube, I ain't going to work and work will have to deal with it, and I say that having taken three days off because "it's far too loving cold, it will probably freeze my car to death and you don't pay me enough to take that chance."

I'm still employed, and didn't even get a talking-to.
