It would be good to know that his base is shrinking if that is the case. I know that all through his term we saw his approval rating banging against that 39% number like a fly against a window, never dipping lower, and we eventually concluded that that was just his concrete floor, solid as bedrock. Are we saying that number is actually starting to get porous? Or that his "base" has been larger during Biden's term than it was during Trump's, and now it has to shed chaff and shrink back down to its impenetrable demon core in order for Biden to have a chance at all? Millions of loud idiots won't translate to a win if there's only a few millions of them and everyone else is just quietly sick of everything being so loving stupid and having to hear about his obnoxious rear end whining 24 hours a day.

Because they are on metformin, neither of them have made any modifications to their diet and lifestyle, and they both eat like utter poo poo - fast food, sugar, junk food etc. They’re both in separate states, different families, don’t even know the other exists, and yet they’re disturbingly EXACTLY the same in regards to their attitudes towards food, the role of drugs/medicine, the severity of their conditions, etc. Neither of their doctors told them this is okay, somehow they’ve both independently come to the conclusion that, “this pill means I can eat whatever I want.” People have been doomsaying about the coming wave of boomer deaths and how it’s going to stress the healthcare system in ways we’ve never seen before, and I have a feeling it’s going to be so much worse than even the worse expectations, because these people are a bunch of deranged 5-year-olds who won’t eat a drat vegetable, with too much money and nothing in their lives that can tell them, “no.” It’s like a giant Jenga tower has been built up since before we were born and it’s all about to topple over and crush us underneath. People trying to murder cops while wearing TRUMP hats is going to count for something in those darker campaign ads, especially when overlaid with various Trump quotes about Nazis being fine people. Trump's supporters are older and less likely to get vaccinated for deadly diseases. They're dying, slowly. Younger generations are more likely to vote Dem, and lots of them are turning 18 every single day and are motivated. Democrats have over-performed in just about every significant election I've read about since Biden took office. Mid-terms traditionally rat-gently caress the incumbent party, especially when people perceive a bad economy. Republicans lost the mid-terms. The red wave conservatives expected wasn't even remotely a thing. Fuckers cried for weeks about it. Trump is also clearly losing his mind. He never really had it to begin with but he's a slurring, rambling mess in his appearances and he'll only get worse and more visible once campaign season really ramps up. NH probably is the last chance to stop Trump on the Republican side. It's always a contrarian state, and the very popular Republican governor has thrown his full support for Haley, really putting in the effort and not afraid to speak out against Trump. So you have a Republican primary where the popular Republican governor is against Trump - is that enough to make a difference? There's no other state that provides that advantage.
