I occasionally think of Dan Dierdorf and how glad I am he's gone too. But yeah Theismann was (and still is wherever he is) the worst.

The People's Tight End.
I’m not just a gunslinger. I’m a cumslinger. Throwing that ball long tells all the Bakerettes that I am loving out there. On the edge. Where I gotta be. The ladies love the danger. The unpredictability. Oh, maybe I’ll tease them with a pretty touch pass every now and again. But then I’m gonna go right back to pumping that ball out for all it’s worth. It tells them I throw like I gently caress. That’s how we do things in the sexy business.

Tell me you’re not turned on right now. I am.

Wasn't the worst crew since Gumble was alright, but Dan Dierdorf was the most insufferable bore in football for about a decade. Thank God old boy retired before Kaepernick took a knee.

The punting team touching the punt first is a penalty, just one with no yardage. Once that happens, the receiving team can always elect to accept the penalty if that’s better for them than what happened on the play.
