Can't wait for the Jets to hang the "We beat the Russell Wilson Broncos twice!" banner next season.

If any person can unfuck the perennially cursed franchise that is the Chargers, Jim Harbaugh might be it.

To add to this, Albert Breer said the deal is mainly done, and it's not even hinging on money. Harbaugh wants guarantees that he can bring in whoever and replace whoever he sees fit. He also wants ownership involved but not to the point where they start making decisions that negatively impact the team (Albert recalls ownership problems in San Francisco.)

Chargers are right up there with the Cowboys in terms of teams who you perennially hear about how talented they are, yet never win poo poo.

Snapping up the guy who just guided a division rival to a decade of 3rd-4th place finishes sure is a choice

I don't think Telesco was a TERRIBLE GM but this feels really uninspiring

I guess theres an argument to be made how much are the chargers a top 5 team talent wise held back by extremely bad coaching vs. theyre an overhyped team also held back by coaching. Inclined to think its a bad hire but if league insiders are buying into the former statement there then it makes sense process wise I guess.

Nobody owes you poo poo. You were bitching that teams weren't interviewing Carroll when he literally wasn't taking interviews. Even if that report is true, lol it's not, then all that means is that he's now open to interviews because he changed his mind. Not a single person said "Pete Carroll sucks, everyone should avoid him like the plague".

On the other hand, take a look at the Raiders first round picks the last 20 years or so. I guess I'd rather hit at the top of the draft since that's usually where you'll get more impact players. Preferably a GM hits everywhere but y'know, beggars can't be choosers.

I wonder if Champ Kelly stays on in any capacity though.

I was told every loving offseason for like fifteen years that the Chargers have the most talented team and THIS was the year. They then fart and fall on their face.

I have never been told the Raiders have the most talented team. They then poo poo their pants and fall down a flight of stairs.

Baby steps?

After 2024, Tomlin and the Steekers part ways.
