Watching the ENT mirror episode when it first aired and realizing they updated the intro with the alternate history footage was pretty neat.

both that and "Archer's Theme" over the end credits sound like the intro to an exceptionally lame early 80's sitcom about white people living together in an apartment complex

Nah, Archer's theme has that right amount of butt rock to it for the main theme of a lovely 80s fighter jet-centric movie that was an also-ran to Top Gun. Especially when the guitar kicks in 2/3rs of the way through the song.

Faith of the Heart is great.

I like to imagine Rick Berman himself went to see the movie Patch Adams, heard Rod Stewart belting out this corpo-produced schmaltz, and said "YES! This makes me think of space exploration! Get me quantum leap on the phone."

There were so many ENT callbacks in that episode it feels like they had to catch up to a quota because nobody otherwise gives a poo poo about ENT. Discovery used most of their callbacks for Voyager and Nog.

It's the only thing they could have referenced. No one wants to remember DISCO exists and that's the only other series that happened before SNW.

Lower Decks is about the closest thing to "TNG, but the show is the cast goofing off in all the outtakes", a show that I've wanted since first learning what absolute hilarious dorks everyone on the set was.

We shall agree to disagree on what lovely 80s off-brand property it is the theme song to then, my friend.

No, just regular phaser shooting. Skeet would require a phaser shotgun.

Yeah isn't Parisi Squares just like American Gladiators Rugby poo poo? That's why Harry's always dislocating a shoulder or collapsing an entire arm playing it because he makes an interception and then gets tackled off a 20 foot drop by Nitro.
