That third panel of the first comic just makes it. It's still funny if you remove it, but that panel included just makes it top tier.

I think her previous showing was posted in a previous version of this thread. I remember enjoying it at the time, but this recent one is kind of a flop.

What a disappointing (and disappointingly final) turn for poor Truffles!

That's hearsay, that's not an autopsy of the body.
We do also lack the weapon though, you are correct.

No. It's not an autopsy but it's firsthand information from someone who was there, admissable as evidence and not heresay. Heresay would be if the serving girl said she overheard Flash say it, or another secondhand source without the ability to verify the original source. A pedantic but important distinction!

The new strip made a point with shifting timelines that movie Flash is a quarterback but this Flash, like the original strip, plays polo. He said as much during the reception. It's not rewriting established points. The witch is the only party guest who isn’t an old ally. She will still be an opponent and is the most likely culprit.
Yes, that's what I thought, but being unfamiliar with the way things played out in the original strip I wasn't sure exactly how Azura's arc went down there. Finding a wiki online suggests a lot of magic, a weird kingdom, falling in love with Flash Gordon (of course), and brainwashing him by loving with his memory, though, and not ever really doing a full turn without dying unlike Aura. So I think probably she got invited as a ruler on Mongo but not necessarily an ally, or perhaps she was mostly allied with the others for the sake of getting Ming out of the way.

The schedule here turned out to be pretty accurate -- the first successful Venus flyby, Mariner 2, was three and a half years later in December 1962, and the first successful soft landing on Venus, Venera 7, was December 1970. On the other hand, that "conquer all foreseeable problems of terrain, atmosphere, and surroundings"...
You should share this in the Space/Spaceflight thread, they'd get a kick out of it!
