I have answered this previously as far as electoral politics go and that's to tell green candidates you won't vote for them if they keep supporting war mongering.

I would also suggest to you that destroying capitalism is a stupid goal and that controlling capitalism is infinitely preferable.

Idgaf about communist revolution because it's unrealistic in the nearer term. NZ could well be allowed not to do all these colonial police actions because we are so small.

I don't support a communist revolution in NZ in the short or medium term because it is impractical in the context of our society and the nature of our hegemon. There is no point fighting battles like this you cannot win. As far as I can tell NZ has no significant communist organizations and those we do have are trots.

That is why for instance I support the Taliban rather than hoping for some fantasy communist revolution in Afghanistan that would be immediately destroyed just like last time.

I am basically a Maoist third worldist so I think you can do more good to bring about global communism by supporting national liberation of currently colonized countries than anything else. I do not prioritize the struggle in my country over that of others, I am an internationalist. To want the already amazing living conditions here improved before improving the lot of the worst off seems to me to be an unjustifiable position, practically and ethically.

At the end of the day the number one thing opposing the development of the communist mode of production is American foreign policy so to me opposing that is a more effective way of achieving the long term end goals I think we largely share. Ansar Allah is a more revolutionary organization than any kiwi communist organization could be in my lifetime. Those quotes, if I recall, are me saying that a political party that materially supported NZ's blockade of Yemen whilst failing to even give lip service to opposing it is my enemy, ideologically and practically, specifically directed at the NZ Greens, our closest analogue to the DSA. Neither org is likely to materially advance communism. Anglophone communists who think you can unionize your way to revolution are more of a joke than euro-communists, they have no understanding of history or worse, are willingly ignoring it because they are too scared to loose their access to treats.
