Vince growls into the microphone, "You all thought you were voting for Trump, but it was me America! It was me, alllll along! I booked his rallies! I wrote his promos! You all bought it, and even he bought it! But he was just the puppet I used to get here -- and now here I am, the undisputed President of the United States of Entertainment!"

Vince steps back to give the audience a moment to boo.

"And there's gonna be some changes around here America! But I'm gonna need a powerful cabinet to make them, so let me start by introducing the most powerful vice-president since Ted Roosevelt, THE UNDERTAKER!"

The Undertaker steps forward to a confused reaction from the crowd and stands silently beside McMahon. McMahon starts clapping at him to convey he's a heel and when the audience picks up on this their confusion coalesces into a cacophony of boos.

"And together, the Undertaker and myself, will command the most powerful stable in the history of politics -- the Federal Ministry!" McMahon gestures broadly as a dozen mid-card superstar dirt-bags filter out to join them onstage.

"And through the power of our combined forces... we're going to do whatever we want, whenever we want, however we want... and there is nothing, ANYONE, can do to stop us!"

The press release said he resigned. Not that they released or fired him, he was allowed to quit. Whatever is better for the stock price I guess.

But that sends a message.

The last time he resigned he was so bitter about it he voted himself back in as CEO, fired a bunch of board members, and sold the company. At least this time I think he no longer has enough stock post-merger to do whatever he wants.

For the record, Endeavor holds 51% of the ownership of TKO Group, the now-parent company of WWE. I don't know how McMahon can convince Endeavor to take him back.

Because last time there were allegations there was no investigation and he got his job back.

Think people are worried he'll do it again but I don't think so, at least with the getting his job back.

Because he's never dealt with any consequences for his actions for the past 40+ years. And even if he does deal with any consequences, it's an easy bet they'll be meaningless and short. Same as every other rich white criminal in this country.

Holy Moly! DARKSEID IS!

I’m avoiding thinking too deeply about something that impacted my early childhood all the way through my early 20s. It’s just one more head-shaking disappointment. It’s a horror show that I always “knew” was there - which is patently untrue, unverified Internet stories aren’t proof. But I knew there was SOMETHING wrong, somewhere.

It’s still real to me, dammit, but now I know what’s real. And I don’t know if a single one of the people involved from the late 70s to the mid-00s are genuinely able to be trusted or believed.

I’m seeing it from gross victim-blaming incels who are just jumping at the chance to blame women for their abuse. They’re such dense misogynists they can’t even take the position “she wasn’t even properly paid for services rendered!”

What gets me is there are perfectly “normal” items like “Gangrel and Luna are swingers” which, okay who cares. Or “Andre pooped in hotel bathtubs” which again makes sense, a tub could support his size and weight unlike a cheap plastic seat and he could clean up afterwards.
