Totally made me fire up Sonique's "Feels So Good" and play it many times in a row.

There is really something about 90s dance music that's just so fun and uplifting. Like you can't feel bad hearing any of those songs.

I really think all the sour people out there that would say homophobic things about it were just caught up in trying to be hard as gently caress mofos and just wouldn't let themselves have fun. I know in High School if you liked any of this you were instantly called gay and beaten up.

Different times.

Different times in nearly all aspects. It didn’t feel like WWIII was looming, especially after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Even the war in Bosnia didn’t feel like some looming international threat that affected the world economy directly.

Problem is, warning signs in the middle east were ignored and then at the end of the 90s we get the USS Cole and also the new millennium and the internet starts to become ubiquitous.

The rest was down hill. Thanks Osama.

I only mention it because the tweet says that there was no author listed. Or did someone else come up with the original 3D model from which the gif was derived?

I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?
I love the critic so much but it's probably better for it's rep that it never left the 90s. If only the simpsons had listened...

Groening et al got so salty about the crossover episode that they had their names removed from the credits but honestly that episode is loving great and an illustration of how good the show was capable of being at the same.

I guess Seinfeld and the simpsons despite both starting in the late 80s typified the 90s but people already know about them plenty. Duckman while I wasn't a huge fan definitely had that feel. As well as basically anything on nick or nick jr I watched at that time will forever be seared into my mind. Did anyone besides me ever watch Weinerville? That poo poo was bonkers

It's a piece of JUNK!
I definitely used to assume basically everything that was still active in pop culture when I was young started in the 90s for some reason. Even though I myself started in the 80s. Simpsons, Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Nine Inch Nails, U2, etc.
