Cody is not an executive and spoke in terms of what talent can do to hold each other accountable. It was absolutely fine and addressed the specific question he was asked.

Counterpoint: why not have two threads devoted to making GBS threads on this terrible company and the absolute monster who owned it?

If people are that upset about not being able to discuss the loving Rumble, well I just don't know what to tell them. Sorry about your drat luck, I guess, maybe next time follow a company that isn't the decades-long project of a serial rapist?

This was the perfect response. The posters in this thread like the wwe in the press conference have to expect people will talk about it. It’s gullible to assume otherwise

general wwe rumble question because i saw someone else mention something on twitter and a coworker mention something but i've not read any actual wwe rumble spoilers/news stuff,

Was Brock Lesnar actually originally scheduled for the Rumble tonight and pulled out because of the lawsuit that alludes to him being involved? Someone on twitter suggested that a spot featuring Bron Breakker/Omos/McAfee seemed like it was originally supposed to be Brock/Omos/McAfee

Bron's performance was your classic Brock Rumble showing, from entering, being dominant in tossing out a bunch of people, having a stare down with a giant, then being eliminated, all in about three minutes.

If it wasn't meant for Brock, it was almost exactly how Brock would have been booked.

it was basically just a "two scary guys stare down" and then McAfee was the next entrance and did the Drew Carey self elimination because he's scared of the big giants, but one was Bron Breakker whose not like that massive comparatively to Omos

The Cameo

There was talk a day or so ago that Brock was supposed to be a surprise entrant but the combo of the complaint being made public and the WSJ outright naming him made the company go “yeah maybe not put that guy on screen right now”

So yeah pretty likely

He claimed Nick Khan and the board took it seriously and acted immediately which is utter bullshit. They literally knew about EVERYTHING and covered it up for over a year and Vince stepped down voluntarily. They actively sandbagged a real investigation.

He has love and nostalgia for the Wrestlers Court/hazing/tough guy poo poo that molded him but also wants to be cool with the new generation that does not tolerate that poo poo anymore. He thinks he can have it both ways and he's going to find out the hard way that he cannot.
