There is an interesting movie in there, from the point of view of all the plotters, insurgents, 3rd parties. With the audience having a brief look at GOD only during pivotal moments. Thousands of years of assassination plots compressed into a movie. Apocalypse now vibes, with voiceovers from Kurtz's journals being replaced by incoherent babbling recorded by Leto in his no-room.
