I felt like it always made sense for vrabel to take at least a year off before jumping back in. The reports about him being obstinant and difficult to work with are one thing but I can’t see anybody (owners that is) being super excited about picking him up when he was difficult directly to ownership. Belichick may be a gruff dildo but he’s also won six super bowls. Mike vrabel is a good ingame coach but he’s not got a resume that should justify making him bulletproof when he’s “allegedly” a prick

i don't think Dan Quinn is a bad hire but its certainly not exciting. a lot will depend on his choice of OC. honestly a few years of steady mediocrity would be a massive improvement for the commanders at this point and building up a real front office is a big part of that.
