I listened to a bit, but frankly, if someone is over a dozen episodes into producing a podcast and doesn't normalise the audio levels of all participants, I discard their work. This isn't hard.

I've listened to a handful now. It's okay. They're not very funny and there's no deep analysis, I listened to a Richard Hoagland ep and that's a rabbit hole they didn't get much into. The clips of Coast to Coast are fun so if a best of collection with some light commentary sounds okay, give it a shot. The Noory open lines episode that isn't too far into the back catalogue is a good one. It's no Knowledge Fight, unfortunately.

The alien conspiracy was fun and cooky and the C2CAM guys had a nice rapport. They apparently made the show around the KF model where one guy clips the show and they react to the silly stuff. Stakes are way lower than Alex's show. There's a good amount of KF backstory and Alex trial recap at the start which mayfeel skippable. Whenever I hear Alex go off about what he thinks the globalists are doing I think about from the part of the Satanic Panic episode of Behind The Bastards where Robert Evans points out that imagined crimes conspiracists accuse pedophilic satanic cults of aren't just completely removed from the realities of child abuse, they're the ugliest things imaginable. Way uglier than any actual child abuse. It's always completely hyperbolic violence porn. Alex ranting about sacrificing children to Moloch, about how the globalists want to bash in children's brains with hammers, about the fish-human hybrids with sad crying eyes, about how they slice off children's genitals during drag queen story time, it all says so much more about him and how he thinks than it does anything else. I also think about how he played the video of the Nashville shooter getting killed by the cops maybe six times during his broadcast.

I have listened to hundreds of episodes of Knowledge Fight and I still tense up when Jones starts his unhinged rants and yells aggressive nonsense. I have no idea how Dan does it. I got way too excited to see this terrible tome in the back of a local coffee shop. The owner of the shop said ol' Bill there predicted lots of profound things so thats why the government killed him.   As soon I realized he was a true believer I promptly paid and left.

The UFO stuff is the only thing I know Cooper had to turn "against" specifically because the early internet message boards where he ran his UFO fiefdom had been infiltrated by law enforcement. The reasons for why the infiltrator was there in the first place are rather amorphous, but their discovery led to a lot of perhaps-understandable mistrust in those communities, which in turn affected the sourcing for their collective fanfiction. ... that's the story, at least. One has to wonder if it is even true as-told, or if it was a lie to cover up for something much more petty -- but if so then we lack the other side of it. From what little KF has heard of Cooper though, while he had a bevvy of probable mental illness issues and other things which made him slightly unpleasant, he was visibly never at the level of malicious-and-abusive like we expect from Alex. Honestly, modern standards are so bad that I'm more surprised old Bill actually wrote his own book. Truly, it was a different era.
