I don't have a strong opinion of Giulia as I've only seen a few of her matches and also her interview with Jushin Thunder Liger but I'm glad so much time was spent discussing AEW not being interested in her because something SRS did not report.

Annoying how much hay is being made about poo poo that didn't get reported when there's a real thing that did get reported, where NJPW put their "international" title on her and she pulled herself from the US show she was booked to lose the title on after she retained at Battle in the Valley. Big "I'm going to the US so I don't want to lose there" energy, and while that's partly on NJPW for letting her hold the title after her contract was up, I don't think it ingratiates her much if she's not willing to honor her prior agreements with regards to booking the belt. I don't know how much stock to put into anything else, but that's enough to come off as more than a bit gross, especially when AEW has a perception issue with "newcomers unwilling to do jobs". Giulia is great (I was at BitV and her match with Trish was excellent and she came off as a total star), but I think the problem with AEW's women's division isn't "not enough good women" any more.
