I've been completely addicted to Nobody Saves The World, which is sort of like a modern OG Zelda-like, I guess, with sort of a jobs system. It's pretty easy, but fun, and there is some strategy to the later dungeons where you have to consider what combinations of abilities are best suited for the monsters inside. It's free this month and well worth playing. |

The steam version is better, but the other versions will reach parity in a bit. Depresso is my spirit animal. your pals needs are very important, I'd advise setting up an automatic berry plantation and make sure they all have nice beds asap if you do play |

beat the first tokyo xtreme racer (that's 首都高バトル for you weebs) for dreamcast. definitely not that great compared to the later ones but i'm dedicated to working my way through the series at this point

Finished the Kirby and went straight to another one I missed when it came out - Metroid Dread. What a near perfect Metroid game. The story went a little wobbly at the end and the last boss has four frustrating phases, but it's drat good. Started up Tears of the Kingdom and I'm floored by the way they kept the challenge up with the new mechanics and some of the hard optional stuff in the begining when you've only got 4 hearts and no good weapons.

I can't believe the level cap for BG is loving 12, just right before things really get wild. I got done with the extremely avoidable task of murdering Raphael and I thought I must be pretty close. to quote review brah my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.

Finished playing Sable, a fun sci-fi desert exploration game. Kind of like BOTW-lite. I really suck at platforming, but the game made it pretty easy and fun. I like the art design too. |

Areola Grande posted:p3 is the best. tell me about these new activities p pls? new social link interactions -- weekend hangouts (like in p4), new evening events with SEES members new in-dorm activities - gardening on the rooftop for useful items, cooking items, watching DVDs for stats, using the PC in the lobby for accessing secret menu items at restaurants and extra stats, working part time jobs (this is from P3P), a fortune teller (kinda like P5) social links are changed slightly, as you can get them in different ways, they text you when they're available and will remind you if you haven't spent time with them lately

I will also add that they made the Tartarus bits less grindy and did a huge amount of work making the levels look great even when they are procedural generation. The new coat of paint on every menu and the addition of a Baton Pass-type thing in battle really helps line up All Out Attacks. It's my new favorite way to play it, after P3P

It's my new favorite way to play it, after P3P yeah all that's missing is the ability to play as a girl like in P3P. having already finished this game twice now i can't rlly justify completing tartarus a third time, even with less grind. as much as i wanna hear the newly recorded music tracks, i'm gonna have to skip this one

like in the vast majority of cases it's not all that noticeable and i appreciate the higher fidelity and all that and for the ones that are really subtle like mass destruction im getting used to the new version and i'm fine with it. it's not like with super meat boy and such where they had to make entirely new songs or whatever. it's still the songs i love

I like Persona 4. It's basically scooby doo except one of the girls has a perfectly round head and does kung fu. edit: I'm playing Zanki Zero at the moment. I'm playing Ghost Recon: Breakpoint! It's exceptionally Snake Eater, except for two things: there's no real reason to hunt for food, and camo doesn't matter, only line of sight, so you can run around wearing bright colours and nobody cares. It's also a fun game, with just enough milsim type crunch to make it more enjoyable. |
