The Carbucks in St. Paul on Snelling snarled rush hour traffic at a major intersection and caused multiple incidents of collisions and drivers beaching their vehicles, even after they hired off-duty police to direct traffic and got hit by fines. Drive thru closed at some point after staff went on strike over police presence, not sure if ever reopened.

This is absolutely the case at Chick-Fil-As I've found. All the staff is focused on the drive through and a token kid is manning the inside mostly for GrubHub or UberEats pickups. It's to the point that anytime there's a new Chick-Fil-A opening the primary concern is "where will the drive thru traffic go?"

Meanwhile another suburb put in a raising canes (so loving overrated) that faces away from the main street and has a grocery store-sized lot for their dumb drive through line to snake through that keeps it off the street. So this is apparently A Thing that restaurants are taking into account with their design. Edit: Also I do not loving understand waiting in a 30 minute line for CFA's mediocre bullshit, but that's neither here nor there.

That’s what happens when you piss off not just one colonel (your brigade commander), but throw in another (the garrison commander). I've seen very fast, but inside a week is either when someone is in their first 180 days in service (like kicked out of boot camp) or when they elect not to use most to their legal rights, like waiving legal reviews, waiving appointments/entitlements, etc. I've seen the latter a time or two when someone wants themself gone ASAP and the military wants someone gone ASAP. Most of the time that it takes a "long" time to chapter someone, it's because the commander or NCOs are lazy or bad at writing and filing paperwork. The other times that it takes forever are either when medical community tells command to slow the gently caress down due to legitimate injuries/issues/ongoing treatment with the service member or when lawyers are fighting it on some grounds or other, either fighting to stay in or fighting to differently adjudicate something before they leave. The other extremely long form of chapter is if someone is missing or otherwise held, such that the military cannot get to them. Like if a guy runs off and gets arrested and imprisoned in Mexico or something, you can't drop them if they would like to return but can't. mlmp08 fucked around with this message at 20:05 on Feb 8, 2024 |

Comey report poo poo, but probably way too early for people to remember it (funny enough) come election time. Though maybe this forces the campaign to actually put Biden out there for interviews and such. No, a dishonorable discharge comes with a loss of all veterans benefits and is generally viewed as the equivalent of a felony conviction and is generally a punishment given after a court martial conviction. Being chaptered out is an administrative action and while loss of benefits often comes with, it's not as bad.

Easy there, I'm just saying that it's dumb that GS-12 Schmuckatelli would get fired/arrested/probation/jail for what Biden did, while he would be in turboprison forever for what Trump did. Classification rules are absolutely hopeless, but line-level workers get them thrown at their head and politicians don't. I personally prefer this option, where politician goes "oh gently caress" and turns it all over, then that's that. Not this shitbag politically-connected fucko putting together a hackjob of a report. And this isn't even in the same ballpark as the Donnie stuff, which makes the donniepost very funny.
