batgirl was destined to fail. the first 90 minutes of the film was all origin story about how a pro softball teams batgirl (the person who retrieves the bats after a hit) gets bitten by a radioactive bat and she slowly turns into a giant bat while keeping her job as a batgirl. she doesnt fight crime even once. batman shows up and for a second you think “ok finally something is happening” but he just buys a stadium dog and leaves. its ridiculous and no wonder they cancelled the project. i did enjoy the 30 minute scene of softball analysis about how they can utilize a woman turning into a giant bat to help the team.

There was a summary on twitter of what the plot of batgirl was allegedly supposed to be and it doesn't sound that hilariously bad but it just sounds insanely dull which might actually be worse

i thought they meant the eternals and i was like drat we talked about that like 9 pages ago how bad do u think our dementia is not a great track record for superhero success for game of thrones alumni but probably not worse than the avg given how comic book movies have been going since then. movies and tv in general really. everything tbh. hahaha what a world, what a world

They're really shown up by the seasoned veterans they work with in that show... Also, at least from the examples shown in that clip, it's clear that Mike and Jay don't know what drum and bass is...
