It's added the bits about the Demon Lord being asking for more secrets that's not in the manga which is their loose way of trying to tie all of the episodes together.

yeah i only watched the first two episodes but it felt very lacking script-wise. most slice of life shows that make it thru the anime pipeline these days feel like theyre being made by genre specialists who know what they're doing whereas this just didnt

Im on holidays now so with my free time I decided to check out at least one more new show. The instant death isekai show.. isnt terrible? Like, its got one gimmick, but they somehow just run with the absurdity of it all instead of trying to overexplain or play it down. And it kind of works. Probably helps that the MC is a total doofus in the vein of Kazuma from Konosuba. Not exactly a season stealing show or anything, but its good enough Ill probably finish it.

Yeah, this has been a pretty good season for good-enough fantasy. Instant Death is a funny trainwreck, Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic is a refreshingly strait take, and Unwanted Undead Adventurer is a nice chill progression fantasy.

there's one thing in the instant death isekai that I really hope they get to it in the anime. here is a link to the part of the manga that includes it for those curious, it's chapter 33, so it might be too far ahead for them to get to. it's also a neat little thing almost devoid of context to the larger series, so while it is a spoiler, it's not that big of one. but yeah, that part more than anything made me go "oh this really is the one punch man of isekai"

I also liked how a few of the other characters have already been isekai'd at least once and are broken from the experience, making them believable lunatics.
